An apex shed has the traditional central-ridge roof that pitches down both sides — the extra headroom down the middle makes it the easy choice for a general garden shed, a workshop or anywhere you want to stand up and move around. The pitch sheds rain and snow cleanly and gives that familiar, tidy garden-building silhouette.
Every apex building is made from tanalised shiplap tongue-and-groove cladding on a treated framework, with a felt roof as standard and an optional EPDM rubber upgrade. Standard and Heavy Duty spec both carry a 20-year anti-rot warranty. Configure the exact size, doors and windows in the Build studio and see the price update live.
An apex roof pitches down from a central ridge, giving more headroom in the middle — best for standing and working. A pent roof slopes one way, which suits siting against a wall or under a low boundary. The build quality is identical; it is only the roof shape and where it best fits.
Yes — our modular timber buildings use tanalised (pressure-treated) timber rather than dip-treated, on FSC-certified stock, manufactured in our West Midlands workshop.
Delivery is free across the UK mainland on every building, and you choose your delivery date at checkout. The Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland are quoted on request.
